ARE YOUR 4D NUMBER PLATES ROAD LEGAL?

If the letters on your 4D plate that you require are only in the colour black then yes. As regards to the krystal number plates, below is a statement from the dvla;

"You cannot have any colour other than white, yellow, or black on a number plate. Some companies have been seen to falsely promote their 4D coloured crystal number plates as road legal, however this is not the case and could result in trouble with the Road Traffic Policing teams!"

So we can sell you 4D Krystal plates but as show plates only I'm afraid and they should not be used on your vehicle.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?

Our turnaround time is around 2 days after we have received your legal documents. Please allow up to 3 working days as each number plate is made to order. The quicker you send us your legal documents, the quicker we can process your order. You will receive a confirmation shipping email once your number plates have been shipped. If you are in a rush for your plates and can't wait that long message us on our Whattsapp number 07392580684 and we will try and get it done quicker. Documents can also be sent through Whattsapp.

HOW SHOULD I ATTACH MY NUMBER PLATES?

We advise using our sticky pads to attach your new number plates to your vehicle, this method is quick and easy to do. To ensure that your number plates adhere to your vehicle, simply clean and dry the number plate surface and then apply the pads on each plate in position to reverse of the number plates and remove the protective film from pads and press firmly into position. Hold for ten seconds to ensure good contact. We do not recommend drilling your number plates but they are the more secure option. We do not offer refunds as made up Number Plates are a bespoke item, therefore we are unable to offer a full refund. However you do have the right to cancel your order within 24 hours of purchasing before it goes into production.

Warranty

We offer a 12 month warranty with every order and our warranty covers the lettering on your plates.

DO YOU DO BESPOKE PLATES?

WHY DO I HAVE TO SEND YOU LEGAL DOCUMENTS?

As we are legally registered by the D.V.L.A too officially be able to sell plates we have to comply with the law. Therefore we will need to see original copies of the documents you decide to send us. We know this can be a pain but we have to comply with the law.

DO YOU DO CUSTOM SPACING?

Yes! We do custom spacing on show plates, any spacing on our road legal plates must comply with the law.

DO YOU DO PLATE TINTING?

Yes we can do plate tinting but only on show plates. You can request this via WhatsApp.

WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?

Once you have sent us your order you have 24 hours to request a refund. If by this time your plate has already gone into production your request will be denied as your plate is a bespoke item and we can not re sell to anybody else as you are the only person with that registration. Great Plates UK will provide replacement goods if it is responsible for an error or if the item is defective/damaged when you receive it, however if you enter your registration details wrong when entering them on the site then we can not offer a replacement. We offer a 12 month warranty but will not replace your plates if you have drilled a screw through a letter.
